Thanks to all the volunteers who give up their time and resources to plan, organise and help with events and services in the village.

Crosshills Coffee MorningA well attended event despite the icy conditions. Thankyou very much to all the helpers, bakers, and rafflers, and those braving the cold - £115.02 was raised. (Includes a donation from Keith & Dorothy of Silsden given on a snowy night the week before!).

New Year ConcertA resounding success attended by some 95 people. Special thanks go to the artistes who kept the audience enthralled - Andy Hill from Earby; Thom Hardaker from Sutton on accordion; and Julia Kornig on viola, also studying at St. Petersberg Conservatoire. Our thanks to St Andrews Church for the Opportunity to use their premises. £491 net was raised.

Cowling Companions BingoThank you to Cowling Companions for donations totalling £216 through 2011 from their monthly Bingo sessions.

Skipton Santa Fun Run
Sponsorship collected was £1,143.55 by the Cowling Village Hall Team of eleven - a mix of children, teenagers and adults - funds were split equally between the Village Hall, Manorlands Hospice & The Teenage Cancer Trust i.e £381.18 each.

Family Quiz NightThank you for the teams attending this event, and especially to St Andrews Methodist Church for hosting us. £102 was raised on the night.

Jungle Race NightThis was a new venture for most villagers, but proved a thoroughly enjoyable 'family' evening with much excitement. A very helpful £202.24 was raised to help the new hall funds. A huge thank you to all those that helped before and on the day, all those attending and the local businesses that sponsored races, bought racers and advertised for us.

New Village Hall Open DayThe New Hall Open Day went well despite the very showery weather. Some constructive comments were garnered, and questionnaires on use handed out. Please return to any committee member. A mailing list for future fund raising events was started, and we had some new offers of help.

Pamper EveningA great night, with jewellery, yummy cup cakes, fancy nails, body shop, reflexology, head and neck massages and quiz sheets to keep the 70 ladies entertained. A huge thank you to the ladies setting up the event, all the ladies contributing their talents on the stalls, and thanks to all who attended. A very successful evening raised £324.
